Students
Head to State Competition
|
|
Nine students competed at the Regional UIL Meet in Levelland on April
13th. The students did an outstanding job with two
students advancing to the State Competition. Kat won 1st place
in Prose and Kyle won 2nd place in Computer Science! The computer
science team also won their place as alternates to state. Following
are the results of that contest:

"Fantastic
Four" Compete At State Competition Kasha wins State Championship in
Accounting
|
|
|
|
Loop's very
own Fantastic Four competed at the State Meet on May 5th in Austin.
The computer science team consisting of Kyle, Kasha, Josh and Willie
advanced after winning 1st place team at the regional competition in
Levelland. Individual regional results were: Kyle - 2nd, Kasha -
3rd and Josh - 4th.
Kasha also
competed at the state level in Accounting after placing 2nd at the regional
meet. This was Kasha's 3rd time to compete at the state level in
Accounting. This year we are proud to announce that she is the 2006
State Champion! With her 2005 State Championship in Computer
Applications, this makes Kasha a two time State Champion!
Wow! What an achievement!
