Grandparents' day will be celebrated on September 12th. We welcome all grandparents to join their grandchild for lunch at school! Lunch times are as follows:
Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade: 10:45 - 11:15
3rd, 4th and 5th grade: 11:20 - 11:45
6th, 7th and 8th grade: 11:55 - 12:35
High school: 12:00 - 12:35
Open House will be held on Thursday, August 29th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The night will begin with a brief presentation in the auditorium at 6:30. We hope to see you there!
Come one, come all! Our Longhorn musicians under the direction of Mrs. KK will perform their Spring Concert on Friday, April 12th at 5:30 in the school auditorium. Performances will include kindergarten through high school students! Come support our program and enjoy an evening of entertainment and music!!
Students will be given the opportunity (with parent permission) to view the near total eclipse on Monday, April 8th. Loop ISD will provide protective glasses for all students and staff. Parents are encouraged to attend the event at school with their student. A very important permission letter is being sent home with the students. Parents have the option to 1. Attend the event at school with their child. 2. Not attend but give permission for student to view OUTSIDE with safety glasses or 3. Not attend but allow student to watch the event INSIDE the school on a tv screen. PLEASE LOOK FOR THIS FORM AND RETURN BY MONDAY MORNING. Students without a signed permission form will be required to stay in the library during the event.

• Nothing scary or gory
• Nothing inappropriate for school
• Students must be able to sit at their desk and complete their daily work

Please call 806-319-7930 for any questions. Sealed bids can be dropped off at Loop ISD business office, 1441 F.M. 303 Loop Texas. Bids will be received, and action taken at the next board meeting. Please put your name, phone number, and information in a sealed envelope. Bids will be taken until November 27th, at 3:00 P.M.
The Student Code of Conduct has been updated to reflect the changes made during the recent state legislative session. The most significant change is in regards to the use of e-cigarettes. According to TEC &37.00(s)(C-2), MANDATORY DAEP is REQUIRED for students who possess, sell, give, deliver or use an e-cigarette on campus, off campus but within 300 feet of campus property line, or off campus at a school sponsored or school related activity. This includes any form of school transportation including the buses. The full definition of e-cigarette can be found in the Student Code of Conduct and includes ANY vaping device. Football season is here! Thank you so much for supporting our students with your attendance at the games. When you arrive, PLEASE check in with the staff member at the entrance and pay the entrance fee. The money from gate is used to pay for the expenses of the game including the referees. Thank you again for supporting our students and we hope to see you at the games!

2023-2024 Online Student Registration is now open! Click the Parent portal link on the website to get started. There will be an open lab at the school on Thursday, August 10th from 10:00 to 12:00 if anyone needs assistance.

Dear Loop ISD Athletic Parents,
I hope this message finds you well as we gear up for another exciting sports year. As we approach the start of the 2023-2024 school year, I am thrilled to share some positive changes taking place within Loop Longhorn Athletics.
With Coach Trent's retirement, I am honored to step into the role of Athletic Director. As such, I would like to extend an invitation to all parents of students in grades 6 through 12 to join us for an informative meeting on July 31st at 6:00 pm. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss our Loop ISD athletic policy, as well as the latest UIL policy updates for the upcoming school year. Additionally, this gathering will provide an excellent opportunity for you to meet our dedicated coaching staff, who will be present to address any questions or concerns you may have.
Whether your child is involved in a particular sport this year or not, we would be delighted to have you in attendance. I am excited about the promising prospects for Loop ISD and look forward to a year filled with positive experiences and accomplishments. Together, let's cheer on the Horns to success!
