Congratulations to our Hero (Bryan Wiebe) and Sweetheart (Avery Wiebe). A shout out to our Homecoming court
of Rowan Rodriguez, Landon Loewen, Meagan Abbott, and Andrea Esquivel. Our students did a fabulous job of representing Loop
ISD. Thank you, students! A special "Thanks" to Lee Lerma, Frank Weiler, Cody Grimes on drawing the Loop Longhorn decal that was
located at midfield. All of these gentleman help out in various roles throughout the school year and we certainly
appreciate their time and effort.

The elementary staff is working hard in the classroom teaching our students. These ladies are providing an outstanding foundation for our students
as they progress through our elementary. Loop ISD is fortunate to have these ladies on our team. Teaching Kindergarten is Margerie Hood, First grade is
Judy Neufeld, Second grade is Jerri-Lynn Throgmorton, Third grade is Bonnie Morton, Fourth grade is Treva Tuttle, and Fifth grade is Tina Dueck. Our Special
education teacher is Kristy Harris, and our Music/Art teacher is Frankie Fish. We have two aides who are very much appreciated. They are Pam Whitfield and
Vicki Bell. Thank you ladies for the hard work you do daily for our students.
A shout out to Rodney Throgmorton! He is our IT director and keeps up with everything in the computer world, etc. Rodney does a great
job for Loop ISD. When he is not busy working on computers or the network, Rodney is helping our students in math and history. Thanks, Mr. Throg!

A shout out to our students for participating during our Homecoming 2026 week! Our bonfire is tonight at dusk east of the track and I encourage each
of you to come and support our students and school. Tomorrow will be a very busy day! Our parade begins at 12:45 at the gin yard. The pep rally will
be in the old gym immediately following the parade. I would like to commend our two cheer sponsors on doing a fabulous job decorating the old gym
for Homecoming. Thank you, Tina and Kristi D. for your hard work! As soon as the pep rally is over, school will be dismissed. This is a reminder that students
are not allowed to stay at school without a parent or guardian after school is dismissed.
We have the senior class supper at 5:00 and runs till 6:30 in the cafeteria. You can contact any senior or their sponsor, Mr. Cody Grimes for tickets
and information. The meal will consist of BBQ pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, chips, and a dessert and a drink. At 5:00, our JH football team will be playing Lazbuddie
followed by the varsity football team at 7:00. Our pre-game activities will begin at 6:45 with the Sweetheart nominee introductions. The halftime festivities will have
the Hero and Sweetheart introductions and the crowning to follow.

We are drawing close to ending our first six weeks of school. It is hard to believe we finish five weeks of school tomorrow.
Next week is Homecoming 2026! We have lots of activities planned for Homecoming week and our students and staff
are actively preparing for a busy week. Here's a list of activities for the week of September 14-18.

Thursday -- 4th graders will be participating in the Ag. & Oil Day in Seminole, Texas. Camo Day
Bonfire will be at dusk. (8:00-8:15) Location: East side of the track. The Loop Fire Department will be serving sausage wraps for $6, as well as selling raffle tickets if you are interested.
Friday -- Everyone participating in the parade will go to the TriCounty Producers Coop Gin yard at 12:30.
Elementary & JH students who are planning to ride in the parade will need to be picked up at the school
by their parent/guardian.
Parade begins at 12:45 at the gin yard.
The pep rally will be in the old gym immediately following the parade. School will be dismissed after the pep rally.

We finish four weeks of school tomorrow and have a long weekend in observance of Labor Day. Our students and staff have done an
amazing job thus far and the break will be very beneficial for all involved. With that being said, we have two football games tomorrow (9-3)
here in Loop against Anton. The JH will be playing at 5:30 followed by the HS at 7:30. Our students who are in the HS music class will be
performing our national anthem tomorrow night prior to our HS game. These kids are doing an outstanding job and you will be impressed
by their performance. Kudos to Frankie Fish who is our music teacher!
A shout out to Lily Hill and Thomas Smith on running cross country this past Saturday in Smyer. Both athletes did a great job of competing
in the hot west Texas sun.
